Onlangs shoot ik de coverbeelden voor de nieuwste film van Geertjan Lassche en fotografie voor zijn site www.geertjanlassche.comLassche maakte naam met reportages over "De vergeten Polen in de slag om Arnhem", waarvoor hij het laatste journalistieke televisie-interview had met Prins Bernhard. Als direct gevolg hiervan kreeg de Poolse 1e Onafhankelijke Parachutistenbrigade in 2006 door Koningin Beatrix de hoogste Nederlandse eretekens uitgereikt: de Militaire Willems-Orde voor de brigade en de Bronzen Leeuw postuum voor haar bevelhebber, Stanisław Sosabowski.
In 2005 maakte Lassche een serie reportages over het vreemdelingenbeleid. Daaruit bleek dat de Nederlandse autoriteiten vertrouwelijke gegevens hadden doorgespeeld aan de regering van Congo-Kinshasa; iets wat toenmalig minister Rita Verdonk eerder had ontkend. De onthullingen leidden tot heftige debatten en een motie van wantrouwen tegen Verdonk, die overigens met kleine meerderheid werd verworpen.
Zijn historische documentaire 't Was maar een mof onthulde het verhaal van de Duitse Wehrmacht-soldaat Karl Heinz Rosch die tijdens de bezetting van Nederland twee Nederlandse peuters het leven redde maar daarbij zelf het leven liet. Het verhaal kreeg landelijke bekendheid en resulteerde november 2008 in de oprichting van een standbeeld voor deze Duitse soldaat.[3][4][5]
In 2007 onthulde Lassche in de Netwerk-uitzending Adoptieschandaal India adoptieschandalen in Colombia, India en China. Het zorgde voor veel ophef bij adoptiekinderen en -ouders, adoptiebureaus en het ministerie van Justitie. Diverse onafhankelijke overheidsonderzoeken bevestigden de misstanden, en drongen aan op beter toezicht en nieuw beleid. (bron : wikipedia)

After I shot the album-cover of Relax's new album Lucifer's Circus I took some great portraits from all the band members as well, including (of course) frontman Sir Llewy.

Ruben Hein is a new talented guy signed to Blue Note Records. When asked to whom his music compares, he responds by saying that it's a mix between Bill Withers, Miles Davis and Radiohead. And that's what it is! His upcoming album is titled Loose Fit and the first single of the album is the track Elephants. Elephants is a very strong poppy jazz tune and it was directly added to the play lists on national Radio 1, 2 & 6 in the week of release. 3FM, the Dutch radio pop channel, announced that Ruben is 3FM Serious Talent for the upcoming 3 months. I shot this talented young artist a couple of weeks ago in my studio. We had a nice time and also took all the time to get in the shootmood. I picked him up from the railwaystation to drive towards my studio. During the trip he told me his Blue Note Records adventure with a smile on his face.
