Huurdeman 2

Mr. Huurdeman, thanks for giving me the opportunity
to get everything out of you today! And for ironing your shirt ;-)

I used two softboxes, a 24-70L lens, one daylight lamp on the ceiling and a bit of make-up.

Fashion designer // Michael Barnaart van Bergen

I met Michael during the shoot of CanadianRed.
Michael designed really nice dresses for the models. I asked him to pose between my softboxes in my studio. Thanks M!

In January 2008 the Dutch fashion media was introduced with Michael Barnaart van Bergen (1983), as he showed his first collection while participating at the C’est Brillant show of Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Here he presented a couture collection made of paper, inspired by the perishableness of fashion, which immediately granted him the status of a highly promising talent. (scource)

Ted Noten // for L'Officiel

L'Officiel fashion magazine asked me to make a portrait from the Dutch artist Ted Noten. This is the result.

Ted Noten is an internationally renowned Dutch jewelry designer who's work has been purchased for public and private collections all over the world. Recently he won the Harrie Tillie Award from the Amsterdam Fund of the Arts. His Tiara design for Dutch Crown princes Maxima won the first prize.
